Half Marathon Coach
My fitness journey began in 2009 when I decided to start taking better care of my health. To help push me off of the couch, I registered for the San Jose Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. I was not a runner, and this was my first race. My wife, who had been running for several years, also signed up and committed to help me train. My goal was to finish without injury, which I did…but not without pain. Since then, I've run several half marathons and three full marathons. Until last year, I had seen improvement every season. This year I plan to get back on track and PR for my Half Marathon time.
My wife Jeanette, who is also a coach, and I love the RPD family and want to see it grow further. We see the positive impact that RPD has on its members and are looking forward to another successful season. Red Rocks!
Goals for the year: run/train more consistently; I also want to run a half at < 1:52.
